Gilt silver (hallmarked "2Argent"; weight 76 grammes), 5.5 cm. This is the first gold medal for a Winter Olympics with the typical thin gilding for gold medals of the 1920s. Only 26 copies of the gold medal were issued. There were only 258 participants in the Chamonix Winter Olympics. Rare. Excellent. EF!
